For: Anyone, no account

Verify without an account

Anyone can check the authenticity of what Certums issued, with no account and no cost. There are three ways to verify.

Verify by CSV or QR

Enter the CSV printed on the document (or scan its QR) on the verification page. You will see the status (valid, expired or revoked), who issued it and its date. If the code does not exist or is invalid, it is clearly stated; it is not a site error.

Verify an agreement or a signed PDF

An agreement is verified by its identifier. A signed PDF is checked by uploading it: it is processed only to verify the signature and is not stored. The check tells you whether the signature is valid, whether the evidence chain is intact and whether the timestamp is correct.

What do those terms mean?

«Intact evidence chain» = nothing has been altered since signing. «Timestamp» = an independent authority certified when it happened. «Valid signature» = the signature matches the document and was not tampered with. For the legal detail, see the legal validity page.
