Certify documents

Certification is the simplest action in Certums: you issue a document from a template and get a publicly verifiable CSV. It requires no participants or signing flow.

Issue a document

Go to Issue, pick a template, fill in the recipient data and publish. You get a verifiable CSV. Depending on the document type policy, it will be public (with or without download) or only privately verifiable.

Manage your documents

In Documents you search by CSV, title or recipient and filter by status or tag. Each document has a status: active, expired or revoked. When you open one you can view it in place, without downloading it.

Templates

A template is the reusable model your documents come from: it defines the fields filled in at issuance. Preparing it once lets you issue many consistent documents in bulk.

Revoke a document

Revoking marks a document as invalid (for example, due to an issuance error or wrong data). After revoking, public verification shows the document as revoked; it is a terminal state, it does not go back to active. If you need to replace it, issue a new one.
